Do I need a monopod or tripod?
I buy my friend either a monopod or tripod as one of his anniversary gifts. I'm not sure what to get to him. I know that in the near future, he will be recording a band in the NYS Field Band Conference from the stands, and I do not know whether fit a full stand, so that there is the question on the inclusion of He Marching bands a few times a year is safe. He will also record other things, where he is not able to hold up a monopod. I have a very difficult decision to buy it. Any tips?
Get the tripod first … then the monopod later.
