Review Nikon D5000 18 55mm Kit
Due to the impressive image quality give this camera 5 stars, even with its flaws:
Pros:
Awesome image quality to 1.
2-Ability to magnify parts of the LCD screen before taking the picture, and even for images that have already been taken.
3-Image Stabilization (they call it VR Vibration Reduction)

Cons: D5000
1-Poor expect swivel position. To see the LCD viewfinder as you shoot you can not turn the display upward or sideways. You can only turn down, making it blocked by the easel. It seems that there is an accessory that allows you to mount the tripod to the side.
2-There is no AC adapter inexpensive. You have to buy a dummy battery for $ 30 and then you must buy a $ 70 AC adapter that connects the dummy socket battery. AND ‘cheaper just to buy two more batteries. But for the time elapsed photography will probably need the AC adapter.
3-No automatic lens cleaner. I was somehow led to believe that Nikon has invented an automatic lens cleaner. But their cars cleaner only cleans image sensor. But when did that become dirty? And ‘the exterior lens needs cleaning machine.
4-No follow focus, when you film. You can still do manual focus, but which leads to the next problem (with # 5)
5-Poor manual focus. The focusing ring can only naturally focus. And the examiner did not agree with the fire spot. So you have to enlarge the LCD screen to the area, which will focus, then turn the focus ring very gently until it is clearer. The course will focus ring makes the slightest twist of a fix.
Cap 6-cheap. Lens cover is not automatic (as in compact cameras) and you have to put somewhere when you remove it. This is not hanging by a thread or open while still on the front of the lens. Having to do with the lens cap off the suggestion, moreover, the camera.
7-does not come with a memory card. I wanted to play with the camera right when you receive it. But I had to order a memory card and wait two days to arrive. There is no internal memory to make the temporary storage. If you do not have a memory card, you can not take pictures.
Wow! I’m impressed. first foray into the world of digital SLR photography, and I can say it is a great leap point-and-shoot. Have not been able to use all the different options available (there are many, will take a bit ‘!). Right out of the box, but the pictures are amazing! 18-35mm is good for photography work in the round. Bought the 55-200mm lens with this camera, and not as advertised. Waiting to see how the speed of zoom does shoot some Friday Night Football and also take some photos of wildlife that I had to do any more. . . but I’ll do both. Will try later after I had the opportunity to explore the almost limitless custom options on this camera. Job well done Nikon. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to enter into DSLR without spending a fortune.
